Accelerated Reader Program

The Accelerated Reader (AR) Program provides teachers and children in Kindergarten through 8th grade a fun and exciting way to promote reading at home and in the classroom. A wide variety of books are marked with red book stickers and reading levels located in the St. Ray's Library to indicate that they are AR books. Students may read AR books and take the associated ten question test to earn points toward milestone incentives, such as pencils, candy bars, coupons, and, ultimately, their picture on the AR Bulletin Board! The kids love to watch their progress and set theirAR point goals for the year.

Because of the variety and number of books offered, the AR list of books is quite long. Each classroom and the library have copies of the AR list. We have included the list here so that you may print for your own copy.

We have included three formats in which to view and print the AR list for your convenience.
